Permaculture, agriculture, animal husbandry, many hands on skills that are fast becoming a thing of the past only. While all these things and more have made things easier and in some ways better, if any major disaster were to occur most of the world as we know it could crash into chaos. The ability to know how to live well and do more than survive was something our ancestors achieved without machines or electronics. These fading arts should not be forgotten.
